ANGELA BARBOUR
Home of the Mustangs! 6th Grade ELA
McGee's Crossroads Middle School
Hello all! I am entering my 16th year of teaching.... and teaching is my PASSION!!! I am the proud graduate of Campbell University's School of Education. My career began across the street at McGee's Elementary. I was blessed to teach 5th grade for five full years until I decided it was time to try something new, and here I am now... for the past 10 years, I have been privileged to teach four full classes of English Language Arts for our Mustangs!!
I reside in the big Town of Benson with my wonderful husband Ryan, and two beautiful daughters, Gracie Lynn and Sadie June. We also have two rambunctious labs named Bella and Izzy.
Besides my family and teaching, I must say I enjoy staying active and creative.
I have had many accomplishments during my career as an educator, and it has given me the opportunity to travel the states and meet some fantastic people. I only hope to have many more exciting adventures in my years to come.
Lastly, I will leave you with the motto that has carried me through these 16 memorable and meaningful years.... always remember in order to be successful, you must always be willing to do "Whatever it takes!"
Oh.. I almost forgot... LOL...
"I am always looking to put my very best foot forward. If you want someone to collaborate or innovate... then I am your girl!"
