Reminder you will be building your own credit at the close of this event. Each session will count 1.2 hours towards your credit. You will collect certificates throughout the event to submit in MyLearningPlan at the conclusion of reIGNITE 2019. Digital Sessions will require the Digital Learning Artifact: bit.ly/jcpsdlcartifact.
Note: If you are attending with your PLC members you might consider signing up for the same reIGNITE Calibration session (Learn 1) so that you can have common language in the coming year.
Learning Objectives & Rationale: Participants will: understand the content of the three childhood outcomes (positive social relationships, acquisition of knowledge and skills, and taking actions to meet needs), develop an intentional plan to collect measurable data that will support ratings, know about and use resources to compare a child's functional behavior to age expected milestones, know how to use the rating scale, and understand the developmental trajectories
Description: This session will help participants understand the basic requirements of the North Carolina Early Childhood Outcomes System and effective practices to collecting data on functional child performance that can be used to support the child outcome summary ratings. The relationship between conducting the early childhood ratings using high quality data and the NC Teaching Professional Standards is also explained.
