Reminder you will be building your own credit at the close of this event. Each session will count 1.2 hours towards your credit. You will collect certificates throughout the event to submit in MyLearningPlan at the conclusion of reIGNITE 2019. Digital Sessions will require the Digital Learning Artifact: bit.ly/jcpsdlcartifact.
Note: If you are attending with your PLC members you might consider signing up for the same reIGNITE Calibration session (Learn 1) so that you can have common language in the coming year.
Learning Objectives & Rationale: Participants will learn ways to differentiate instruction. They will understand and develop tiered assignments based on the levels found in proficiency scales that are needed to master and exceed standards
Description: Looking for a way to reach students of diverse needs in your classroom? Try using tiered assignments! This session will provide an overview of the elements of a differentiated classroom and help participants use standards, proficiency scales and learner profiles to create assignments that support all learners.
Modalities/Implementation Practices: Our presentation will be delivered using Google Slides. Participants will collaborate with others within their same grade band to analyze and create tiered assignments based on grade-level standards.
