reIgniteJoCo 2019 CvHS has ended
Reminder you will be building your own credit at the close of this event.  Each session will count 1.2 hours towards your credit.  You will collect certificates throughout the event to submit in MyLearningPlan at the conclusion of reIGNITE 2019. Digital Sessions will require the Digital Learning Artifact: bit.ly/jcpsdlcartifact.

Note: If you are attending with your PLC members you might consider signing up for the same reIGNITE Calibration session (Learn 1) so that you can have common language in the coming year.

Learning Objectives & Rationale: 
Participants will learn how to move K-2 students towards independent research and publishing through a variety of technology tools.


Description:  
This session will show participants how even our youngest learners can independently research and publish their work!  We will take participants through the steps of how to explore informational text and the phases of research.  Participants will also explore a variety of technology tools that students can use to independently publish their research upon completion. 

Modalities/Implementation Practices:
Our session will include collaborative discussion, interactive participation along with some whole group delivery.  We will use a variety of technology tools such as Chatterpix, Book Creator, Symbaloo, NC Wiseowl, Flipgrid, Discovery Education etc.
