Learning Objectives & Rationale:
I would like the outcome of this session to, largely, be teachers who feel more confident in understanding learner profiles and how to use the learner  profiles to create personalized pathways. Another outcome I'd like to have is helping teachers understand how the art curriculum can be crossed, in many ways, with the core curriculums. I want them to hear how, my visual and artistic students who struggle in various core curriculums, have learned core standards through creating artwork.

Description:
How can learning be personalized in the art room to support the standards in the core curriculum? Then, I will explain how I use learner profiles to determine how I will deliver the material to the students. From the explanation about learner profiles, I will explain how I use the profiles to create the personalized pathways for my learners. Lastly, I will explain how I use a reflection piece from the students at the end of each unit to improve the unit, and to determine how to move into the next unit. My learners in art are more engaged when they know the curriculum has been personalized to them, which helps them to learn more effectively.

Modalities/Implementation Practices:
