reIgniteJoCo 2019 CvHS has ended
Reminder you will be building your own credit at the close of this event.  Each session will count 1.2 hours towards your credit.  You will collect certificates throughout the event to submit in MyLearningPlan at the conclusion of reIGNITE 2019. Digital Sessions will require the Digital Learning Artifact: bit.ly/jcpsdlcartifact.

Note: If you are attending with your PLC members you might consider signing up for the same reIGNITE Calibration session (Learn 1) so that you can have common language in the coming year.

Learning Objectives & Rationale: Learners will be able to:
* develop a shared definition and understanding of Learner Agency.
* experience Learner Agency as an educator.
* identify the role Learner Agency currently plays in their classroom and strategies for further engaging students.
* start to think about what should be included in student profiles that can aid in the development of a personalized pathway

Description: 
Learner Agency is a hot topic that has some educators excited but has left others confused, frustrated and grabbling for resources and strategies to help their students achieve agency. In this session, we will clarify and develop a shared understanding of what learner agency is by allowing you to discover your OWN agency. As an educator with agency, you can start to think about the role learner agency currently has in your classroom and how you can further support students struggling to succeed in a personalized learning environment.


Modalities/Implementation Practices: 
Whole group, small group collaboration and individual/partner pathway exploration
