reIgniteJoCo 2019 CvHS has ended
Reminder you will be building your own credit at the close of this event.  Each session will count 1.2 hours towards your credit.  You will collect certificates throughout the event to submit in MyLearningPlan at the conclusion of reIGNITE 2019. Digital Sessions will require the Digital Learning Artifact: bit.ly/jcpsdlcartifact.

Note: If you are attending with your PLC members you might consider signing up for the same reIGNITE Calibration session (Learn 1) so that you can have common language in the coming year.

Learning Objectives & Rationale: 
Participants should gain confidence in applying for grants to help them purchase resources that will enhance the new ELA curriculum.  Grant proposals should be aligned such that any requested resource directly relates to student learning and literacy objectives.

Description: 
This session will support teachers' general ability to write grants and will then focus specifically on writing grants to obtain resources to support the new ELA curriculum.  Teachers or other personnel should write proposals for resources that will enhance reading instruction for and be relevant to students (i.e., enhance what is readily available through the core curriculum).

Modalities/Implementation Practices:
 
In addition to providing general information, I will provide resource pathways based on need and/or interest for participants to explore.  Thus, the experience the participant has in the session is personalized and relevant to him/her.
