Reminder you will be building your own credit at the close of this event.  Each session will count 1.2 hours towards your credit.  You will collect certificates throughout the event to submit in MyLearningPlan at the conclusion of reIGNITE 2019. Digital Sessions will require the Digital Learning Artifact: bit.ly/jcpsdlcartifact.

Note: If you are attending with your PLC members you might consider signing up for the same reIGNITE Calibration session (Learn 1) so that you can have common language in the coming year.

Learning Objectives & Rationale:
Participants will understand the purpose of the following MAP reports: Achievement Status and Growth Projection, Class Breakdown, Grade Report, Projected Proficiency, Student Profile, Student Progress and Student Goal Setting.

Participants will learn how to access and use MAP Reports in the NWEA system. We will discuss similarities and differences between the reports and the best uses for each one. Teachers will use the Student Profile report to analyze individual student trend data over time; this practice allows decisions to be made regarding individualized instruction. The hyperlinked reports allow teachers to view the learning continuum by academic domain areas and make decisions about what students know and what they are ready to learn. Following the Winter and Spring benchmark administrations, the Achievement Status and Growth data can be analyzed to discover how students are performing overall in comparison with their classmates. Instructional delivery for students can be adjusted accordingly in order to help them progress. 

Science and Social Studies teachers can have access to the same reports for their classes. They have the ability to analyze the achievement levels of students in their class and find instructional materials for their students to meet them at the level for which they are currently ready to learn. 

Modalities/Implementation Practices:
Participants will need a device and their MAP username and password.
