Wanda Hanley has been an educator for over twenty years. She started her career in Wake County Public Schools. She is fluent in Portuguese as a second language and often uses her bilingual talents to make students from Brazil feel at home in North Carolina. She has always been a passionate learner, which has led her to investigate and integrate digital media. Wanda is a Digital Learning Coordinator for WCPSS, who supports teaching and learning by offering a variety of services to help teachers effectively plan and use digital resources to advance student learning. She is Google Certified Level 1 & 2, Seesaw Ambassador, Cognitive Coaching, Facilitative Leadership, and received her Discovery Education Certificate in 2019. Wanda lives in Apex NC with her husband and enjoys weightlifting, camping, and hiking outdoors as well as seeing her sons when they pop back in to visit.
