Love educating students! Success Can be found in every student. We must believe every student can learn. Love my cats and our labs. Our family has 3 blonde labs. Two are rescues. Most of the time they go sailing with the family. Love going to our place at Atlantic Beach. My husband Don Rains really is the Captain of his ship/sailboat. Love my family,my friends and my God. Also love McGee 's Elem's students, staff and our parents. Been at the business a while now. One of our own children graduated from Elon University and works in Washington DC and loves it. Our daughter attends Campbell University. Neither child chose Don and my school which was good 'ole ECU. Proud to say I had a class under Dr. Batten the founder of the School ADM Program at ECU. He was such an outstanding person and leader. A true mentor. He trained the first USA astronauts that went into space. John Glenn was in his class. He was a great personal friend and educator. JCS is a great system I have much passion for its success. I love for teachers and students to develop the passion for teaching reading and learning to read. Change always comes.... some good and some not so good but we keep moving forward, we must embrace the opportunity to continue to grow.
